Did I ever tell you about the time I dropped my one day old brand new IPad AND cracked the screen? š¤. I did not know what was happening to my body but I no longer had any type of grip ā at all! It would take several more months until I found out that my body was attacking itself with the autoimmune disease of Rheumatoid Arthritis. _When I began my fitness journey and began learning about food, I wanted to know about reducing inflammation. So here today is my third post regarding reducing sugar in our diets. š_So far weāve covered prioritizing your sweets and saying no to soda. Today we cover knowing how much sugar is in your coffee or going easy on those coffee concoctions! š®_Did you know a medium pumpkin spice latte from one popular coffee house has more than 12 teaspoons of sugar š² and 420 calories; a medium frozen mocha swirl from another chain contains about 35 teaspoons of sugar and 730 calories. Thatās right ā in one drink. š¤¦āāļø_Some flavored syrups are all sugar. Unsweetened tea and coffee āļø are your healthiest options, but if you prefer flavor, consider the syrups made with non-nutritive sweeteners._Something to think about especially if you are living with inflammation. I was able to return the iPad for a new one and since the diet changes, my inflammation markers are below normal and I havenāt dropped an iPad since. š #reduceinflammation, #inflammationfighter, #rheumatoidarthritiswarrior, #reclaimingmylife, #reclaimingpatty, #wlstories, #persistent, #fitover55
