Exactly 5 years ago today, my sister Laura and I took a trip of a lifetime to Southern Italy to discover the land from which my great grandmother immigrated. Our adventures are in this blog. Ever since that trip, I have wanted to bring my family – the Deters’ five – to Southern Italy to experience what I experienced.
I once again worked with Cherrye with MyBellaVita Travel and came up with an itinerary similar to what Laura and I did, but not identical. We are currently in Virginia for a family wedding and we will depart on Monday, May 20th for Italy. This will be the place that I record our adventures, so feel free to follow along. We are all very excited to take this trip of a lifetime.
