This! I started at 276 pounds. I began by setting a Fitbit step goal and walking the neighborhood (or inside my house if weather was bad) until I reached my goal each day. I invited friends to join me in challenges and we motivated one another. I progressed to the gym and a program at the gym that gave me access to a trainer at an affordable price.
